Real Steel (2011) Full Movie Online dailymotion. The movie was just great and it is worth watching. Kids will love it. Critics! it is not an Oscar movie so simply watch it and have some fun. The story is not as predictable as you would think and it got some twists. I hated Hugh Jackman at the beginning but he managed be good. Evangeline Lilly is HOOOOOOOT. she is just adorable and cute and no one can forget her from Lost. The kid was funny, but needed more lines in the movie. i would really recommend the movie, it is fun and comedy with a lot of action especially if you like Sci-Fi movie. It is a rare breed of film that can be thoroughly enjoyed by all ages i gave it 9 of 10.

I saw the trailer for this film and thought it looked like a good bit of fun, robots boxing and plenty of special effects to create that format, and a pretty good leading actor, so I got the opportunity and watched it, from director Shawn Levy (Cheaper by the Dozen, Night at the Museum, Date Night. Basically in the near future, the year 2020, boxing and similar sports have become uninteresting for people to watch, so a new sport has been created, Robot boxing, where robots controlled by someone battle against each other in a boxing ring, this also allows for much more savage hits and destruction. Former boxer Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman) has been trying to make it in the new sport, he is not only not doing it well he is financially troubled, and he has to figure out what to do with his son Max (Dakota Goyo) following the death of his mother. Max has the first say in who looks after him, and he chooses to stay with his father rather than his Aunt Debra (Hope Davis) and Uncle Marvin (James Rebhorn) but Charlie is not all keen on the idea of having to look after the boy and struggling to pay the 20,000 debt he owes. He agrees to take his son for the summer, and one night after losing a fight they go to the scrap yard to repair the robot they have, and Max finds an old generation robot, his father sees it as a piece of junk and more like a service robot than a fighter, but his son insists on fixing it. The robot is cleaned and seemingly ready to fight, they name it Atom, and the boy insists going out to get it in a fight, Charlie is sure that if it was to fight it won't survive past the first round, but it is put into a fight and surprisingly learns quickly how to defend itself and fight hard. Following this a promoter makes sure to get them more fights, Atom slowly goes up in the world of the sport and becoming big news, and with them making money, achieving success and becoming famous the father and son become closer with their relationship as well, Charlie's childhood friend Bailey Tallet (Lost's Evangeline Lilly) becomes a fan as well. Max dismisses an offer to sell his robot for 10,000, and he makes sure while on the news though that he challenges seemingly undefeatable robot Zeus to a fight, as that could bring the biggest fame and fortune for them, but he is upset when his father says he should be back with his aunt and uncle to care for him better. Charlie realises his mistake though, asks for forgiveness from Max, and says that he has confirmed that Zeus and his controllers have accepted the fight challenge, so this goes ahead, Atom takes some very aggressive hits and gets to the point where it cannot function alone, but Charlie uses his skills to control him manually and they win the fight in the end, and Charlie and his son are happy as father and son. Also starring Anthony Mackie as Finn, Kevin Durand as Ricky, Karl Yune as Tak Mashido and Olga Fonda as Farra Lemkova. Jackman is a good choice as the man unsure but trying to adapt to fatherhood and his young co-star Goyo is alright as the determined boy, I think the father-son bonding works well with the robots boxing plot, it reminded me of one of the Rocky films, with the ups and downs of the champion, in this case a robot, and the special effects for the fights are terrific, I don't know why the critics give it a low rating, it is a fun and likable science-fiction action drama. It was nominated the Oscar for Best Visual Effects. Worth watching.
